With Jamie's regular treatment & counsel we defied the odds and have a beautiful baby girl. "I love Jamie Goodman LaC! She is magical, knowledgeable and kind.
I saw Jamie at the start of an outbreak of shingles on my thigh. It was painful and nervy and uncomfortable and I just happened to have an acupuncture appointment with her that day. To my surprise, instead of cancelling me until I wasn’t contagious, she was excited to double glove and treat me. She asked my permission to “bleed the shingles” to get circulation and healing energy into the area. Once I agreed, she needled the area extensively, squeezed gently to get blood flowing and get out the toxins. Thanks to Jamie, my shingles never developed into the normal weeping blisters I hear about and, instead of lasting months and spreading, they were contained and fully healed in 2 weeks with very little neuropathy. Thank you Jamie!

I not only have had the pleasure of being a client of Jamies, but I worked at the front desk of the same yoga studio she rented an office at for 20 years. I checked in the people she was seeing, and I witnessed the transformation of how much better they felt after their sessions. "In a perfect world, everyone would know someone like Jamie. Her medical knowledge, broad experience, and masterful touch are balanced by her calm attentiveness, bright intellect and gentle humor. My 20-year history of back pain shifted fundamentally under Jamie's expert attention. She recommended a course of various therapies that, while primarily consisting of regular acupuncture, included courses of Chinese herbs, abdominal massage, and cupping.
Though I enjoyed the best of what traditional Western medicine had to offer since back problems began to plague me in High School, I was at a point of worsening discomfort, decreasing mobility and pronounced numbness in my legs and feet. I went to the Emergency Room for pain rescue every 4 to 6 weeks for more than a year before I was finally stabilized, primarily through medication. There was a clear point at which my oral meds would not control certain catastrophic acute pain events, so into the ER I'd hobble for shot after shot of narcotic pain killers until the pain came under control, and then home for 24-36 hours of stunned & hung-over recuperation thereafter. It was emotionally, physically and financially exhausting.
At the very beginning of one of these rapidly accelerating pain events, I decided to go see Jamie on my way to the ER. In 15 minutes, by putting 3 needles in the back of my hand and two in my forearm, she accomplished what would historically have taken 5-8 hours in the hospital, 4-6 injections and several thousand dollars. (I'm getting goosebumps as I relate this event from 8 years ago.) She turned the pain around in an instant, and I haven't been to an Emergency Room since! I couldn't be more grateful to Jamie for her kindness, her careful listening and her miraculous results!"

"My review for Jamie Goodman I am updating after several years, 15 years of patronage. My first Acupuncture appointment was with Jamie, and I mean my first time ever going to an Acupuncturist. Jamie immediately made me feel at ease, being a bit apprehensive with my first time and all. Very kind soft voice, wonderful smile and a warm touch. She listens to you, then makes assessments, then confidently tended to my needs and gave me good advice about treatment and future self care.
I had had a terrible car accident where I was rear ended on the bridge, I was completely stopped and a big truck struck my vehicle going approximately 55+ miles an hour, my vehicle was totaled and no one believed that I would have survived that accident. I had a fractured back, and all kinds of fun nerve damage, trauma from the accident and in lots of pain.
Jamie's kind demeanor, gentle touch, warm voice and skilled hands put those needles in my damaged body, with grace and care. I immediately had relief and began my healing process. Jamie had for about a year given me the care and service I needed, when needed, very accommodating, and worked with me on the medical billing, very fair prices and professionalism.
Over the years I have been treated for other minor, things, sometimes tune ups on my back or other ailments, she has always been there for me and my wife, Jules also, that is how I found out about Jamie, and Jules gave her rave reviews so I thought I would give it a try, I really needed help as the meds I was getting where not really helping. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised and realized I should have been going way before for other things in my life."
